MailHog and the Renply test inbox
Move MailHog inspection of Renply renders onto renply dev and the hosted test inbox. You still send with your provider.
Renply is the transactional email framework for developers. The default path is POST /v1/render → subject + HTML + text. You send with your provider.
What changes
- Local inspection uses renply dev on http://127.0.0.1:8025.
- renply dev does not accept SMTP.
- MailHog uses the same SMTP port 1025 and UI port 8025 as Mailpit.
What stays the same
- Production send stays on your provider.
- POST /v1/render returns subject, HTML, and text.
