Mailtrap and the Renply test inbox
Move Mailtrap inspection of Renply renders onto renply dev and the hosted test inbox. You still send with your provider.
Renply is the transactional email framework for developers. The default path is POST /v1/render → subject + HTML + text. You send with your provider.
What changes
- Local inspection uses renply dev on http://127.0.0.1:8025.
- renply dev does not accept SMTP.
- Email Testing on sandbox.smtp.mailtrap.io is left behind. Mailtrap Sending stays the send path when you already use it.
What stays the same
- Production send stays on your provider.
- POST /v1/render returns subject, HTML, and text.
